As the year moves into its final quarter, October has been another strong month across all divisions — Concrete, Civils, and Fabrication. Here’s a look at what’s been keeping us busy.

Concrete Division
Our Concrete team has kept up its incredible momentum this month, continuing to exceed targets and supply sites right across Yorkshire.
Every morning, our civils customers have their priority slots booked weeks in advance — a service we take pride in delivering consistently. This month, we even completed another footing at the property of one of our regular customers’ directors – a great example of how we truly can do it all!
We’ve also completed 40m³ of no-fines, permeable concrete, serving both new and returning customers. Our experience in specialist mixes like this is just one of the things that sets us apart from other volumetric concrete suppliers in Yorkshire.
Last week was one of our busiest to date, with an incredible 695m³ poured. A huge thank you goes to our drivers for their dedication – especially those who stay until the job is done, even when the last few Friday pours under-measure and need topping up after 5pm! Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.
Civils Division
October has marked a big milestone for our Civils division with the start of a new warehouse extension project in Spalding. This long-term project will run from October 2025 through to Spring/Summer 2026.
We kicked things off by coordinating the haulage and delivery of key plant and equipment to the site, including:
- 22T excavator
- 30T excavator
- 213 Bomag roller
- 14T excavator
Demolition work is currently underway and expected to continue for approximately two weeks before the next phase begins.
Fabrication Division
Our Fabrication team has been working hard through October, completing a range of projects for our regular customers – and there’s more in the pipeline for the coming weeks.
Upcoming and ongoing works include:
- Changing bearings on a shredder
- Refitting panels and installing new hinges on a screener
- Plating and reinforcing screener arms
- Major repairs on a 24/7 Terex Fuch, including:
- Relining the existing clamshell
- Fabricating a brand-new clamshell
For another valued customer, we’re also set to fabricate a composite gate and custom guttering as part of ongoing site improvements.
Looking Ahead
October has been another month of growth, teamwork, and exceptional results across all departments. A massive thank you to everyone who’s played a part in keeping standards high and projects moving. With winter approaching, we’re gearing up to maintain this pace and finish the year on a strong note.
Mixing less than 1m³ of concrete can cost you £150 in materials alone when buying from merchants—and that’s before adding labour and mixer hire!
We’re now serving Yorkshire with up to 1m³ pours for just £250!
